Israel has so much to offer: the beauty of its landscape, the multicultural mixture of its population, the rich history of the birthplace of Judaism and Christianity.
Tour 1 - "Born of the Mediterranean sea" - Fully booked
A tour of beauty, of nature and rich history. This tour will take you to Rosh Hanikra, one of Israel's most interesting natural formations, where waves have carved caves and grottoes into the white chalk cliffs. Take the steepest cable car ride in the world and explore the mysteries of the grottoes. The primordial view of the sea seen from the cable cars during the ride is simply breathtaking! We recommend that you bring your camera!
From the marvels of nature we will proceed to the city of Acre (Akko), a city with 3000 years of facinating history, which served as a main port to northern Israel for centuries. A rare blend of East and West, authentic sights from the past, a unique meeting place of art and religion, alongside the remains of various cultures – all these have made Acre one of the most important cities of the ancient world. Take a leisurely walk through the market and visit the picturesque fishermen's port.
*this excursion will leave from the Technion at 14:00
Tour 2 - Annunciation and wine - Nazareth and Cana
Two important sites for the Christian faith.
Visit Nazareth, a place for an all-encompassing visit. Visitors will appreciate seeing all the historic sites in the city and soaking up the atmosphere of the place that shaped Jesus'
character. Walk through the quaint alleys, visit the markets and see Nazareth village, a re-creation of Nazareth and its culture as Jesus would have known it.
From Nazareth we will continue to Cana, the site where the miracle of water turning into wine took place. In this attractive little town, with a population of both Christians and Muslims, there are two churches commemorating the event.
Tour 3 - "Dreams Come True" – modern history and multicultural society
Caesarea and Zichron Yaakov
Caesarea was the gate to Herods kingdom.
The kingwho built The Jewish Temple and Masada
made this ancient port city, the most beautiful in his kingdom,
