The symposium will take place at the Amado and Sego buildings on the 2nd floor.
The entrance to the Technion which is the closest to the venue is the main gate (from Neve Sha'anan).
The entrance to the buildings is through the 4th floor.
  

How to Get to Haifa and the Technion?
 
By Air:
Getting to Haifa by air is very easy as its own airport named Haifa Airport that operates daily flights to & from Tel Aviv & Eilat serves the city.

By Train:
Another convenient and most reccomended mode of getting to Haifa is by train. Well connected with Tel Aviv, Akko, Beer Sheva & Ben Gurion International Airport train journey to Haifa takes more than an hour. Upon arrival you can either stop at Bat Galim station or at Hof Hacarmel station. 

By Bus:
One can also travel to Haifa through the means of Egged buses from any city of the region.
Route 2 the coastal road links Haifa with Tel Aviv.

Directions from the Tel-Aviv main road to Haifa (The Technion):

1. Take the first exit  from the coastal road (No. 2) to Haifa (Haifa South, Matam, Tirat HaCarmel)
2. After exiting turn left at the first traffic light to Vainshel St. Continue straight ahead with the mall on your right side. 
3. Ascent 3 km up the hillside until you reach the T junction (at the end of the street).
Take a left on Horev St. & an immediate right (next to the Horev centre mall). 
You will have reached Pica St.
4. About a kilometer up Pica St., pass the Paz gas station and continue on the right lane. 
5. Continue with the road, drive under the bridge and continue on the left lane that runs through the tunnel. 
6. Exit the tunnel and continue on the right lane, before reaching the traffic light turn right to Komoi St.
7.Continue on Komoi St. for about 200 meters and turn left at the traffic light. Continue straight ahead to the main Gate of the Technion.

Bus from the train station:
From Bat Galim train station you can take bus no. 17 to the technion
From Hof Hacarmel train station you can take bus no. 11 to the technion

Taxi from the train station:
The cost for a taxi from the train stations to the Technion is around 10 EURO

Language
The official language of the Symposium is English.

Climate and Clothing
In September, which is autumn, the daytime temperatures average 31°C
Night time temperatures average 23°C
Clothing is informal for all occasions.

Visas
All visitors are required to have a valid passport, and for some countries, a visa is required.
For more information please contact your nearest Embassy, Consulate or local travel agency well in advance. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
