Welcome Message

Welcome to the 1st EACCP

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Course Directors Professors Ronald Dahl (Aarhus, Denmark) and Daniel Vervloet (Marseille, France), it is our great pleasure and privilege to cordially invite you to join us for the very 1st edition of the
European Allergology Conference on Clinical Practices (EACCP) that will be organized from May 5-8, 2011 at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The 1st EACCP is part of our meanwhile well established and highly appreciated educational series of European Conferences for Clinical Practices (www.euccp.com) that intends to update participants on current practices, but also to educate on innovative approaches and techniques that are either still under investigation or that will be introduced in medical practice in the near future.

Besides a few academic plenary lectures, the EACCP scientific program is mostly characterized by a multitude of interactive Clinical Corners. Moderated by internationally recognized Experts, these sessions are dedicated to a topic within a specific disease. Participants and Experts will work out together how patients in daily practice may benefit most from specific management options; new treatment and techniques, etc. The interactive nature of the Clinical Corners will also leave room for participants to freely exchange personal experiences with colleagues from different specialties and nationalities.

For the EACCP the following points have been considered as the primary academic and practical educational objectives:

♦ review existing therapeutical approaches;
♦ inform about latest scientific advances;
♦ focus on new and emerging medial therapies;
♦ assess and improve the clinical implications of primary and secondary prevention;
♦ debate the impact and feasibility of risk factor management in daily practice;
♦ assess and improve the use diagnostic tools;
♦ allow participants meeting and discussing with international experts on (controversial)
   issues and challenges related to their daily practice;

♦ stimulate interdisciplinary exchanges and exchanges among healthcare professionals from
   different countries.

On behalf of the Program Committee and Organizing Committee we sincerely believe that you will enjoy the most up-to-date scientific and interactive program and we eagerly await to welcome you at Copenhagen.
