Abstract Submission

Confirmations are being sent out these days, due to
the big  amount of abstracts the committee have received
there  might be some delays.
Please accept our apology in advance. 


Participants interested in presenting oral communications or poster presentations are invited to submit an abstract.
Abstracts may be accepted for 1 hour workshop, 1.5 hours workshop, 2 hours workshop, brief session, sub plenary or poster presentation or may be rejected. 
Abstracts must be submitted via the congress website.

 

 

 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Proof of student (transcript, copy of student identification card, or letter signed by head of department) or new professional (transcript) status must be sent to the IFTA congress secretariat for award consideration.
• PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PRESENTERS ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR THE CONGRESS PRIOR TO JANUARY 15TH, 2010. PRESENTERS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTED BY THEN WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM.
• The awardee will be automatically registered for the congress (no payment of registration fees is required). 

 

LANGUAGE
The official language of the meeting is English. Plenary presentations will be simultaneously translated into Spanish. All abstract submissions and presentations are to be in English

Please note that in certain halls the presentations will be bilingual.
The presenters will be able to present in Spanish and an English translation will be provided on the spot.
The presentations in this case will be shorter and the request to present in a bilingual hall will have to be made in advance through the abstract submission system.
All the requests will be considered.

Abstract Award Submissions:
For Students/ New Professionals

IFTA OUTSTANDING STUDENT/NEW PROFESSIONAL ABSTRACT AWARD
IFTA will grant an Outstanding Student/New Professional Abstract Award of Euro 700 to the presenting author of the most outstanding abstract for a Student/family therapist who is still in training or have recently graduated (less than 2 years from conferment of terminal degree).
The selection will be made by the Scientific Committee and the prize will be presented at the congress.

Applicants must follow the usual procedures and guidelines used for all other abstract submissions.
